Bryant Smith is a native of Huntsville, Alabama. He holds a Master of Community Planning and a Bachelor of Arts in sociology from Auburn University. Following a 14-year professional basketball career in Europe, Smith returned to his hometown, where he founded a nonprofit organization dedicated to mentoring youth through the Every Student Succeeds Act.
In 2021, Smith joined the Auburn men’s basketball staff, contributing to an SEC tournament title, an SEC championship and a Final Four appearance. He believes every scholar has a gift, and it is our responsibility to help them develop the tools necessary for success throughout life.
