Week of Service Program

The Week of Service program continues to be a transformative initiative that embodies the Auburn spirit of academic excellence and community engagement. This program represents a powerful commitment to service, justice, and education, providing students with a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on their local communities.

Since its inception, thousands of incoming Honors students have dedicated a week before the fall semester to volunteering and immersing themselves in service-learning experiences that go beyond traditional classroom boundaries.

Participants actively seek to raise awareness about the causes and consequences of poverty at the national, state, and local levels. Through education and service, the program aims to foster a sense of responsibility and encourage proactive solutions to social issues.

The Week of Service program builds on the Honors College's rich tradition of service. It not only complements the academic achievements of our students but also instills in them a sense of duty to continue serving their communities long after graduation.
