Week of Service Recap!
The Week of Service program represents a powerful commitment to service, justice and education, providing students with a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on their local communities. Each year, prior to the start of the fall semester, the Honors College at Auburn University invites its incoming students to participate in this meaningful program.
This year, 86 incoming students and 15 student counselors served for a total of 1,045 hours at six service locations around the Lee County area. While at these locations, participants deepened their understanding of how poverty affects individuals and communities, all while increasing their personal passion for service. |

Honors students at Auburn enjoy access to two study spaces that are designed specifically for them, offering quiet environments away from -- yet close to -- the bustle of campus. With swipe access, students can collaborate with fellow Honors peers or focus on individual work in a more private setting. |

Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt
“Remarkably Bright Creatures is the first and only book I have ever read where the POV is from an actual octopus, and I promise you it is totally worth the read (I was skeptical too!). This book made me laugh, cry and gasp aloud; now I recommend it to everyone I know!”
