Carson Kim and other Honors College students highlighted at annual President’s award celebrationHonors senior Carson Kim was selected as one this year’s prestigious Algernon Sydney Sullivan Awards winners. This award has been presented annually at Auburn since 1951 as a reminder of the noblest human qualities exemplified by Algernon Sydney Sullivan, a prominent humanitarian and first president of the New York Southern Society, now the Algernon Sydney Sullivan Foundation.
Congratulations Carson!
The President’s Award recognizes one graduate in each college who has completed at least three semesters at Auburn with a minimum grade-point average of 3.40 and possesses outstanding qualities of leadership, citizenship, character and promise of professional ability. This year four Honors students were awarded this honor including: Carolina Vellenich Triboni (Civil Engineering), Alexandra Grace McGrew (Wildlife Ecology and Management), Elizabeth Claire Congo (Nutrition Science) and Victoria Lee Ashley (Political Science and History). |
