One of the best aspects of membership in the Honors College is our courses. This week in our Digital Storytelling class with Dr. Hooper, students were graced with a lecture from Jamy Wheless, master storyteller, animator, and Auburn graduate. Mr. Wheless is CEO, Animation Director and Producer at Ignite Animation and an award-winning film animator with 25+ years of experience as Animation Lead and supervisor at Industrial Light & Magic. Mr. Wheless spoke to the class about his work (which you’ve definitely seen on the big screen) and his passion for storytelling. What an amazing opportunity for our students!
