Academic coaches provide tutoring and mentoring to fellow Honors students in a variety of subject-specific courses. Students in the course are responsible for hosting weekly coaching sessions (3 hours per week) and should be prepared to help students in their given subjects by reviewing the course material, preparing additional study materials, and serving as a mentor for Honors students attending sessions.

Celebrate the season with Honors! We'll have: fun fall festival games with prizes, pumpkin painting, a fortune teller, face painting, fried pies, Auntie Anne's Pretzels and Bites, apple cider, Auburn popcorn and more! Honors Serves will be hosting a can food drive during Fall Frenzy. Bring canned goods to donate and you will receive extra tickets! Stop by the upper Quad on October 19th from 4-6 pm.

A Spooky Cater Talk
Join us on Halloween for a special Cater Talk with Dr. Lindsey Fitzharris. Dr. Fitzharris is a New York Times Bestselling author with a Ph.D. in History of Science and Medicine from the University of Oxford, and is the writer and host of the Smithsonian Channel TV Series, “The Curious Life and Death of…” In 2017, she published The Butchering Art: Joseph Lister's Quest to Transform the Grisly World of Victorian Medicine, a biography of surgical pioneer Joseph Lister. Her second book, The Facemaker: A Visionary Surgeon's Battle to Mend the Disfigured Soldiers of World War I, about plastic surgery pioneer Harold Gillies, was released last year. She’s also written for The Wall Street Journal, The Guardian, Scientific American, and New Scientist.
