Meet Bryce!

The Honors College is happy to introduce our newest staff member: Bryce Gray. As the Administrator for Student Recruiting, Bryce meets with prospective students and families to provide information on admission requirements, curriculum designations, involvement opportunities, and program outcomes within the Honors College.

Honors Research Fellowship Opens December 1

Secure funding for your research projects!

The Honors College is excited to support our students’ research endeavors by providing funding for students’ independent research projects. Students conducting research in any field are welcome to apply for the Honors College Research Fellowship. Students can utilize these funds to support research projects, research-related travel, or conference travel. Click the button below for general guidelines. Please note the timing of this has changed, and we will only have one application cycle per academic year.

Graduation is just around the corner

The Honors College would like to congratulate all of our Fall 2023 semester graduates! We are so proud of you and can't wait to see what your future holds.

Graduates, if you have yet to RSVP for the Graduation Medal Ceremony, please do so as soon as possible. An invitation and RSVP information can be found in your Auburn email. 

Upcoming Events

Cup at Cater Nov. 29th from 9 to 11 am

It's the last Cup at Cater of the semester!

Honors students, be sure to stop by Cater Hall on November 29 for your free caffeine fix of the day! We'll have a variety of coffee and breakfast snacks available for you to get the day started. Be sure to stop by because the next time you'll have some of Maggie's coffee will be in the new year!

Take a break during finals and have breakfast on us!

We all need a break from time to time so have one on us! The Honors College will host a free chicken and waffle breakfast for students on December 5 from 8 to 11 am in Cater Hall. We'll have waffles from the Waffle House truck and chicken nuggets from Chick-fil-A. Sounds like the perfect excuse to give yourself a break!

News You Should Know

View Digital Storytelling Class Portfolios

Chelsy Hooper’s Honors College Digital Storytelling students will be sharing their Portfolios informally during class on Wednesday, November 29 from 9:20 am- 9:50 am and from 10:20 am- 10:50 am in Library 3011. All are invited to attend, visit with students, and peruse student web portfolios that include graphics, video, and podcast projects. 

Other Opportunities

New interdisciplinary program through College of Liberal Arts


The Gulf Scholars Program, funded by the National Academies of Science, Engineering, and Medicine, allows students to earn the Gulf Scholars Certificate from the National Academies and provides scholarship funding, cohort activities, and community partnerships.
