Here's Your Friendly Reminder to Register for this Year's Tailgate

Join the Honors College for a “Fall Family Tailgate” complete with lawn games, food, and giveaways perfect for gameday!

This is a free event for Honors College students, and their guests and families. All are welcome to attend, but be sure to include all attendees in your registration.

Incoming Honors Students - Time to Make it Official

Be sure to register for your Induction Ceremony

Incoming students, this ceremony is your formal induction into the Honors College, where you will receive your Honors College pin. Much like the medal bestowed at graduation, this pin signifies membership within the Honors College.

The Honors College medals and pins are not only emblems of membership, but they also serve as recognition of the achievements and the rich undergraduate experiences that you will receive here at Auburn University. Take pride in these items as they are a physical embodiment of your time and hard work.

Contracting Workshop on August 29 from 3:30  to 4:30 pm in Mell 4546

Honors Contracting Workshop

Creating a course contract is a great way for Honors College students to receive Honors credit in their non-honors classes by adding an extra learning component. Learn the ins and outs of contracting during this one-hour workshop.
Cup at Cater on September 6 from 9 to 11 am at Cater hall

Time for another Cup at Cater!

Need a little pick me up? We all do! Stop by Cater Hall on the morning of September 6 for another Cup at Cater. We'll have coffee (both iced and hot), tea, and breakfast snacks to make your day that much brighter.

Study and Travel Info Session

The Honors College has three Study & Travel courses available this spring. Travel to Italy and learn about higher education abroad, see the sights of Vietnam with the Honors College and the Harbert College of Business, or visit the ecologically diverse Florida Keys. Learn more about each during our first information session on September 7 at 4 pm in Cater Hall.

News You Should Know

Honors Student Center Access

The Honors Student Center, located in the basement of Broun Residence Hall in the Upper Quad, is accessible to all Honors students. This space has areas for studying and socializing with the added benefits of a kitchen, washer/dryer, games, etc.

Access to the Honors Student Center is only available through the basement door next to the parking lot. 

If you are having issues with access, please contact the Honors College.

 
Introducing Honors peer advising with Taylor
The Honors College is thrilled introduce Peer Advising -with Taylor! Do you have an advising question and need a quick answer? Ask Taylor! Don't have an appointment, but need to find out about a course? Taylor has the answers. No appointments needs and walk-ins are welcome. Peer Advising is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30- 11:30 am here at Cater Hall.
