Beginning this semester, Fall 2018, Honors students who graduate with concurrent degrees will be awarded their honors designation (Honors Scholar or University Honors Scholar) on both diplomas and degrees automatically. This policy does not affect students with double majors. For questions about this policy change, please contact your honors advisor.
Honors Contract Approvals
Fall honors contract approvals are due by the 15th day of classes, September 10th. If you are planning to contract any courses this fall, please speak with your professor and then email your Honors College advisor to start your contract in WorkFlow.

National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Writing Workshop
The Honors College will host a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship (NSFGRFP) application writing workshop.
September 6 | Mell Classroom Building 3546 | 6 - 7:30 pm
The workshop will be facilitated by two current NSF graduate research fellows and it is designed to assist applicants in outlining their educational, professional development plans, and career goals as well as their graduate research proposal.

RSVP for the Honors College Tailgate
Make sure you have RSVP'd for the Honors College and Auburn Global tailgate on Cater Lawn today! Festivities begin at 3 pm and end prior to kick-off. This is a come-and-go event however, we ask that you please rsvp in order to get an accurate headcount. RSVP before September 4th.
First-year Honors College Students, please make sure you have RSVP'd for your Induction Ceremony.

Interested in your own Research Colloquium?
Students interested in presenting their own research through the Honors College Research Colloquium can do so by contacting Dr. Thomas. The Honors College Research Colloquium is an excellent way for students to gain presentation experience. This method of presenting to one's peers makes good practice for those who plan on preforming research in the future.
