As part of Fall Family Weekend, parents and students are invited to join the Honors College for an open house of historic Katharine Cooper Cater Hall. Enjoy light refreshments as you tour the building, and take a moment to visit with Honors College staff in this well-appointed campus icon.

It is with mixed emotions that we announce the resignation of Honors College Advisor Sarah Crim. Her last day will be Friday, September 15th.

The Honors College would like to thank Ms. Crim for her five years of service and wish her the best of luck in future endeavours.  

Students can now make an appointment with any Honors College advisor through Advise Assist, and walk-ins will continue to be accepted.

Study Sessions

Students enrolled in Honors General Chemistry (CHEM 1117) are encouraged to attend this study session to help prepare for the first test.  An Honors College student who has successfully completed Honors General Chemistry will lead the Study Session and be available to answer any questions.

Common Book Author Dave Eggers Keynote Postponed

Author of this year’s Common Book, “The Circle,” Dave Eggers was originally set to give his keynote address on September 12 in the Student Center Ballroom at 7 pm. Due to the recent area storms, this event has been postponed until further notice.
